Winter is my greatest enemy.
Considering I haven’t seen the sun in two weeks and can’t stand the cold, I’d say I’m beyond ready for spring.
I’m prepared for a full 180. Most importantly, I’m ready for spring produce. Respectfully, I’m over winter squash and pomegranates. Citrus season means warmer days are coming, and I, for one, am ready to experiment with vibrant ingredients.
Lately, I've been loving contrasting colors in my dishes, and spring gives me a right of passage to do so. In the meantime, I do have a couple vibrant recipes coming your way in the next few weeks, — I can’t wait for you to see them!
On another note, my final comment on this whole kitchenware/glassware extravaganza goes to CB2. As much as I love secondhand shopping, if you’re more type A or prefer a more structured shopping experience — CB2 is your place. Their pieces are so cool and reasonable, and I always get lost scrolling on their site. Here are two glasses I just picked up from them: the Neat Double Old-Fashioned Glass and the Marta Tasting Glass.

ok final final comment: somehow that Neat Double Old-Fashioned Glass went from that ^ to this ⌄, so I’m going to take that as a sign to hush about glassware for the moment.
